Glenice Stone, 79, passed away July 28th.
She was a member of Free Holiness Church for 62 years. She was known as Lala to her grandchildren and their friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Pinkerton; brothers, Virgil Pinkerton and Russel Pinkerton; and her sisters, Alice Pinkerton and Patricia Pinkerton Findley.
Glenice is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nelson Stone, of Big Cove, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ritchie Cain of Pleasant Grove, Al; son, Lahnson Stone, of New Hope, AL; granddaughter, Morgan Cain of Pleasant Grove, Al; grandson and granddaughter in-law, Jordan and Rachel Cain of Woodville, AL; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Cain; great grandson, Indy Cain; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Linda Pinkerton, of Grant, AL; sister, Becky Farmer, of Big Cove, AL; sister-in-law, Joyce Pinkerton, of Grant, AL; brothers and sisters of the Stone Family; and a large family of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be as followed: Ryan Holland, Ronnie Dudley, Jason Elkins, Jason Mahathey, Nathan Black, Jarrod Black, Danny McAllister, and Terry Majors.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Brittney and Nigeri of Comfort Care Hospice in Huntsville, AL who were so thoughtful and caring to our family in our time of need.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Joe Ventness and Brother Patrick Price officiating. Burial will take place at Green Valley Cemetery.
