Sherry was active in her Church. She especially like to sing in Sunday School, often to the dismay of her fellow students when she became hard of hearing, singing loudly, but usually on key, but off-beat. She liked to go fishing. Even better than catching, she liked to clean them. This was just fine with all those who brought them in. Sherry participated in the Special Olympics and earned medals in track and swimming. Sherry was very patient, kind, loving, and liked to be treated the same, but she seldom lost her temper.
At this time no funeral will be held, a private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, 600 Governors Drive, Huntsville, AL 35801, for The Special Adult Class, or Generations (Children’s Building).
