SHEFFIELD – This past Saturday morning, Sheffield Mayoral candidate, Kevin Lee Robinson and some of his supporters worked throughout Downtown in an effort to put a shine on the place. Sure it was hot. But Kevin and his wife, Sarah and Friends took to the street in the blistering heat, bags and graspers ion hand to fulfill two important tasks. The first one… the obvious one, was to do a deep clean in the flower beds and gutters that clearly needed some T.L.C.

The second task was to show that if Kevin is selected by the voters to man the helm at the Municipal Building for the next 4 years, he doesn’t mind doing the heavy-lifting required to re-invent his City.

The Quad Cities Daily stopped by toward the end of the cleanup project and snapped a few photos. Please note that everybody had masks for safety. Many couples worked on the project on this hot day using appropriate social distancing from the other volunteers.
