Forest Hills Baptists hand out remedies for a hot summer day

FLORENCE – The good folks at Forest Hills Baptist Church are always looking for ways to make life a little bit more fulfilling for their community. And so Pastor Rich Hardeman and a small cohort of members came up with a cool idea… i.e. Renting-out an ice cream truck and giving away some cool treats to their neighbors. So Rich, and Deacons Robert Walker (Chairman), Fred Rodgers and Joe Knight arranged for David Knight of Muscle Shoals to bring his ice cream truck over on Saturday. They cruised the neighborhoods offering cold treats at no charge to everybody who wanted to enjoy one. Now that’s a great example of a Ministry that reaches out!
