Lonnie S. Taylor, age 84, of Leoma, TN passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, a farmer, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allie Williams; his mother, Irene Taylor Foust; his first wife, Bonnie Huntley Taylor; one brother; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Taylor of Leoma, TN; three sons, Ronnie Taylor (Doris) of Leoma, TN, Donnie Taylor (Lynn) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Johnnie Taylor (Vivian) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one step-son, Pee Wee Bishop of Giles County, TN; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethel Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2020, with Josh Taylor and Michael Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
