Mrs. Mary Jane Shaw was born in Mercer, Tennessee on January 31, 1953, to the late Mr. T.D. Snipes and Mrs. Nayola Brooks Snipes.
She departed this life on July 21, 2020, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mary Jane received her education in the Madison County School System and was employed by Nursing Home Facilities in Jackson, Tennessee until she retired.
Mary Jane married Gregory Earl Shaw on September 9, 1972, and was preceded in death by him on February 5, 2017. During those 45 years of marriage three sons were born of which one son, Randy Lamonte, preceded her in death.
Mary Jane was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her sons.
Mary Jane leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Gregory Barnard and Marcus Terrell; granddaughter Markeyvia; sister Barbara Shanklin; 2 brothers, Harry Brooks (Bernice) and Robert Brooks (Earlene); and a host of several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
