Mr. Odis Dan Close age 85 of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, July 10, 2020, at Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Breeze, FL. Mr. Close was preceded in death by parents Elmer Felix and Alta Lee Page Close, wife Marguerite Cope Close, and siblings Barbie Julia Spencer, Opal Lee Cantrell, Frances Edward Close, Mary Brown Demali, Drewsie Ellen Myers, Josephine Kania, and James Hoyte Close.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Barry (Gwen) Close, granddaughter Kalli Close, grandsons Dan Close and Nick Close, and siblings Doris Coggins Estes, Thomas Paul Close, and Marjorie Ann Patterson. Nieces, nephews, family members, and friends surviving.
Graveside service and interment will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 19, 2020, at DeKalb Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Smithville, TN. Elder Kenneth Brown will officiate. There will be no visitation at the funeral home as family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
