Mr. Billy Kirby Lindsey, age 57, of the Joppa Community. Passed from this life on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Born to J.B. Lindsey and Nell Kirby Vaughn Lindsey, Billy was born on July 20, 1962 in the state of Mississippi; Mr. Lindsey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Desert Strom ranked as a SSG Military Police. Billy worked as a quality control technician for Georgia Gulf Inc. He was a jack of all trades; he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Lindsey was a member of the Baileyton United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lindsey will be forever remembered by beloved wife of 13 years; Rhonda Kay Henson Lindsey; sons, Zachary Lindsey (Anna Lee), Brice Lindsey and Brandon Kyles (Jessica); daughter, Cassandra McIntosh (Jason); brother, Jackie Lindsey; sisters, Judy Woods (Ronnie) and Kay Smith (Larry); 9 grandchildren.
Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death by his parents J.B. Lindsey and Nell Kirby Vaughn Lindsey; brothers, Jerry, Jimmy and Johnny Lindsey; sisters, Peggy Ann Lindsey, Patsy Sue Ellis and Betty Lou Horne.
Funeral Services will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Deborah Moon, officiating.
