Huntsville Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Cullman

CULLMANOn Wednesday, July 8 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Huntsville man.  his name will be released upon notification of next of kin:

“A single-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, has claimed the life of a Huntsville man. The name of the driver will be released when next of kin is located.

He was driving a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser north on Interstate 65 near mile mark 311 when he collided with a 2009 Honda Accord. The PT Cruiser overturned in the median and landed in the southbound lanes. The driver of the PT Cruiser, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and seriously injured. He was transported to Cullman Regional Hospital where he died of his injuries. The driver of the Honda was not injured.

The crash occurred 2 miles north of Cullman. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
