Junior Franklin Prince of Hebron, passed away Sunday, July 5th at the age of 91. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Junior was born November 15, 1928. He and Ruth Ann Poarch were married December 1952. Junior was a veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroism in ground combat. He was employed at Redstone Arsenal for 38 years with the federal government and with a contractor. Junior loved farming and raising cattle. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of 60 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for everyone. Junior was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by father, Arnold S. Prince and mother, Lillie Belle Prince and brothers, Billy Prince and Eugene Prince.
Surviving are wife, Ruth Ann Prince, daughter, Marsha Prince Boyett (Greg), grandson, Adam Prince Czachurski, granddaughter, Anna Czachurski McDermott (Mike), step granddaughter, Danielle Vann (Seth), great grandson, Coen, sister, Emily Prince Keller, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Walker Cemetery, Wednesday at 12:00 pm with Rev. Michael Carpenter officiating. Pallbearers will be Bruce Keller, Jack Koontz, Ramsey Prince, Kenneth Mitchell, Tyler Roden, Billy Poe and Honorary Pallbearers, Frank Keller and Terry Poarch.
