Mary Ruth Butler, 78, of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020. She was born September 9, 1941 to the late William and Flossie Rector Goodwin. Mrs. Butler was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 6th at Walkers Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Summit ministry.
She is survived by her children, Janie Baugh and Jonathan Butler and wife, Sandra; brothers, James Goodwin and Don Goodwin; sisters, Jerol Kendall, Mildred Duncan, Jean Camp, and Ethel Brewster; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Butler and son, Craig Butler.
