Margean Smith Freeman, age 83, of Arley, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Hendrix Health Care. She loved spending time with her garden, sewing and spending time with her family. Special thanks to Hendrix Health Care and Kindred Hospice for taking good care of her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Meek Baptist Cemetery. Roland Gilliland will officiate.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her Father-Tommy Gilliland; Mother-Inez Cook Gilliland; Husbands-Blaine Smith and Girland Freeman; Son-Earl Smith; Brother-Raymond Gilliland.
She is survived by her Daughter-Debbie Dickerson of Arley; Sons-David Smith of Tuscaloosa and Scott Smith of Jasper; Sisters-Virginia Myers and Mary Ellen Thompson both of Florida; Brothers-Roland Gilliland of Florida and Dean Gilliland of Texas; Host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
