Edsel B. Frazier

Edsel B. Frazier age 94 of Smithville, passed away on Saturday night June 27, 2020 at his granddaughters residence.  He was born March 13, 1926 along with his twin brother, Edward Frazier, to their parents, the late Bob Lee and Hassie Hubbard Frazier.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 wives, Martha Ann Frazier and Louise Frazier; son, Eddie B. Frazier; daughter, Margaret Ann Pack; step-daughter, Linda Stone; twin brother, Edward Frazier; brother, James Frazier and sister, Ruby Smithson.  Edsel was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran, Mason and member of Liberty Lodge #77 for 50 years, Shriner, Eastern Star, member of the American Legion and VFW.  He was a member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church, was a retired Postal worker and a nurseryman with Frazier Brothers Nursery.  The funeral arrangements for Edsel are incomplete at this time and a complete obituary and the arrangements will be announced on Monday.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
