Funeral services using the appropriate social distancing protocols as recommended by the CDC and the State of Tennessee, for Mr. Terry Black, age 77, will be held at 2pm Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Rutherford Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time.
Mr. Black, a retired Master Sargent in the TN Nation Guard and a lifetime member of the Trenton Elks Lodge where he served in many local and state offices, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his home in Rutherford, TN.
Mr. Black was preceded in death by his father, Doris Black; and a brother, Milton Black.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife, Charlotte Black; three children, Steve Black, Cheri Draper, and Mark Lock; a brother, Keith Black; his mother, Martha Haas; and three grandchildren, Sunny Green, Jon Adam Green, and Aubree Anna Green.
