Murphy “Carl” Howard, Jr., age 78 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Chapel. Charlie Brown and Leonard Rigsby will officiate.
Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his Son-Jerry Loyd; Mother-Naomi Tune; Father-Murphy Howard; Father-in-law-Clarence M. Murray; Mother-in-law-Gladys Murray; Brothers-Ronnie Tune and Billy Frank Tune.
He is survived by his Wife-Doris Howard of Jasper; Sons-Terry Howlit of Boston, MA and Whit Howlit of Boston, MA; Sister-Peggy Tune of Jasper; Sister-in-law-Bettye Tune of Winston Co.; Brother-Charles Tune (Shirly) of Carbon Hill; Aunts-Joyce Romine Osborn, Deloris Romine and Mary Neil Osborn; 2 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
