At the fulfilling age of 82, Henry John Geigle, Jr. left this earth for his Heavenly Home on June 12, 2020, a year after the death of his beloved wife of 61 years, Leota. “Hank” was born in Bismarck, ND, to Henry John Geigle, Sr. and Rose (Lautt) Geigle, the youngest and only son of six children born to German immigrants who settled in North Dakota.

Henry is survived by son John, daughters Mary Rose Towery and her husband, Brad, Leah Penner and her husband, Kevin, grandchildren, nieces and nephews who were related both by blood and by love. Local to the Huntsville area, Mary Rose and granddaughters Sarah (Rogers) Toth and Susannah “Susie” Rogers were by his side through his last days and hours. He was loved by many.

Primarily raised by his mother, sisters and influenced by godly men at his local church, Hank earned his Eagle Scout in 1956, Bachelor of Arts and of Divinity in the 1960’s, then Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in Religion degrees in the 1980’s. He was ordained to preach in 1963 and upon his death was Pastor Emeritus of Victory Baptist Church in Beavercreek, OH, which he founded in 1977. His calling as a Pastor stretched through five decades and seven states.

An open visitation with the family at Berryhill Funeral Home, 2305 N. Memorial Parkway in Huntsville is on Tuesday, June 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 and burial following at Huntsville Memory Gardens on University Drive. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Friendship Baptist Church, 3217 Village Dr. SW, Huntsville 35805 or Victory Baptist Church, 1020 Beaver Valley Road, Beavercreek, OH, 45434.
