Betty Sue Patterson, 80 of Addison, entered into rest on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Betty was born on May 28, 1940 in Jasper, Alabama. She was a member of Houston Congregational Christian Church for the last 6 years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2pm at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Addison. Brother Bobby Smith will officiate.
Betty is survived by her daughter Sherry Harper and her husband Wayne; son, Terry Patterson and his wife Karen; 3 grandchildren, Shana Harper, Haley Harper and Nathan Patterson; great grandson, Raylan Gobble, one great granddaughter on the way; special niece, Linda Gilliland; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Mark Patterson; parents, Archie and Lora Pratt Gilliland; brothers, Bobby, Leborn, and Lee Ray Gilliland; and sister, Fannie Mae Burleson; sisters-in-law, Dean Gilliland, Eleanor Gilliland and Jean Gilliland; brother-in-law, Cletus Burleson; and niece, Anita Gilliland.
