Dean Martin

Dean Martin, 86, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully Saturday surrounded by his loving family. Dean retired from NASA after many years and then worked for Jerry Damson Honda/Acura. Dean was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors include wife, Buddie Martin; son, Bud Martin of Huntsville; daughters, Jan August and Amy Weckwarth (Craig), all of Huntsville; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Thompson of Illinois and Betty Wentworth (Kenneth) of California. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anne Martin and brother-in-law, Jack Funkhouser.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be private.
