Mrs. Marjorie Turner Roden, age 83 of Fort Payne, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Roden was born on June 1, 1936 to the late John & Bertha Turner in Texas. She was retired from the City of Fort Payne after 30 years as the City Clerk. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Eddie Freeman; son & daughter-in-law, Neil & Tammy Roden; brothers, Earl Turner and Randy Turner; grandchildren, Drew, Micah, Taylor, and Logan; and great-grandchildren, Dakota, Callen and Lucy Ellen.
A private graveside service will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Union Hill Baptist Church.
