Helen Rainey Joyner, 89, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
Aresident of Madison, Al, for 48 years. Born April 13, 1931, in Fayette, Al, she was a daughter of Jeptha F. and Lula Welch Rainey. Until recently, she was an avid square dancer with The Fun Bunch, she was also a member of numerous Huntsville bowling leagues in the 1970’s and 80’s.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years of marriage James Joyner; two children, Barbara Jenkins of Madison, Al, and Micheal Joyner of Athens, Al; five grandchildren, Sean Monahan, Shanna Joyner, James Joyner, Amanda Jenkins, and Jacob Jenkins.
Interment will be at Valhalla Funeral Home. There will be a Private funeral service for family members on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Chaplain Randy Evers will officiate.
