Mr. Burlon Dillard MooreMr. Burlon Dillard Moore, age 74, of Valhermoso Springs, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Burlon was a cosmetologist in the Huntsville area for 34 years. He was U.S. Air Force veteran and volunteered with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman “Sip” Moore and Pearl Lee Moore; sisters, Hilda Lenox, Maggie Lou Moore; Hattie Hall & Edna Whisenant; brothers, Billy Moore & Carl Whisenant.
Burlon is survived by his sisters, Peggy Moore Thompson, Linda (Bob) Elliott and Iris Moore Fowler; brothers, Bobby Moore and Jerry Moore; a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Hough Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring, Brindlee Mtn Chapel and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will include; Thomas Parsons, Russell Parsons, Mike Moore, Bob Hopkins, Daniel Johnston, Daniel Fowler.
The family will receive friends at the Brindlee Mtn. Chapel Funeral Home from 12:30 – 1:30 on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. All attendees are required to practice social distancing to attend visitations held at Brindlee Mtn. Chapel Funeral Home.
In Lieu Of Flowers The family wants to thank the Encompass Home Care nurses for a job well done and also Daniel & Karen for their support.
