Robert “Buddy” Farrar Jr, age 87 of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Lynchburg Nursing Home. He was born in Moore County on July 23, 1932 to the late Robert and Bobbie (McGee) Farrar Sr. He retired from Jack Daniels after over thirty years of employment. When he was able, he enjoyed working in his garage taking care of his cars and traveling to Gatlinburg with his beloved wife. Buddy is survived by his loving wife, Jean Evans Farrar of Lynchburg; daughters, Jane (Kenneth) Claxton of Shelbyville, and Betty (Randall) Fanning of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Shannon (Jay) Dearing of Shelbyville, and Brett (Whitney) Fisher of Shelbyville; and great-grandchildren, Eli Dearing, Kendall Dearing, Brynn Fisher, and Jackson Davis.
