Gwendolyn Pruitt Monk, age 83, of Cullman, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the Folsom Center. She was born February 7, 1937, to Everett Collins and Lois Pansy Pruitt.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Monk, and parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Myra (Woody) Sanderson, Crystal Askea, and Rebecca (Tom) Sweeney; son, Thomas (Charlotte) Monk; grandchildren, Sam Sanderson, Ben Sanderson, Eric (Lyndsie) Askea, Preston (Malaya) Monk, and Rachel Monk; great-grandchildren, Harlow Sanderson and Harper Askea; brother, Louis Pruitt (Suzanne Stratton); niece, Riima Pruitt; nephew, Lou Pruitt; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
