James “Jimmy” Daniel Lewter 72, of Ardmore,TN died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home.
Born Thursday, July 24, 1947 in Ardmore, AL, he was the son of Demmer Lewter and Lucille Watson Lewter.
Jimmy has lived here all his life and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. He loved being with his family and watching westerns on television.
He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Lewter, Ardmore, TN; sons, Daniel (Connie) Lewter, Ardmore, AL, Kevin (Christie) Lewter, Elkton, TN, and Michael (Sunshine) Lewter, Elkton, TN; brother, Tommy (Louise) Lewter, Ardmore, AL; sisters, Marie (Larry) Phelps, Bowling Green, KY, Hazel Bowman, Nashville, Mary “Poodle” Johnson, Nashville, TN, Peggy Drake, Ardmore, AL, Brenda McGaha, Huntsville, AL and Cathy Jones, Huntsville, Al; 4 grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 10:30 AM with Bro. Jeff Drake officiating.
