Mr. Jess Stanfill, Sr., age 99, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 in Peoria, Illinois. He was born March 15, 1921 in Reagan to the late Thomas and Ethel Martin Stanfill. He was a WWII U. S. Navy Veteran, a retired welder for Caterpillar, and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and gardening. Mr. Stanfill was always a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lillie “Nancy” Stanfill; one brother; and one sister. Survivors include his son, Mr. Jess Stanfill, Jr. (Cress); his daughter, Faye Gestring (Larry); three sisters; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 AM, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Henderson County Memory Gardens.
