Leland George Pendley, age 73, Lynn, Al. passed away Saturday May 2, 2020 at his home. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, during that time he was awarded the following, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge and Expert Marksman with M-16 and M-14 Rifle. He was a retired Machinist from NTN Bower and a member of The Church of God in Bessemer, Al.

A Private Service will be held.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Barron Pendley; children, Shayla Powell (Spencer), Shane Pendley (Joneece) and Selena Kinard (Cory); sister, Maxine Stockton (Jerry); brother, Scott Pendley (Kasey); grandchildren, Lauren Powell, Ashlyn Lowe, Emma Simpson, Devon Hamilton, Lucas Kinard, Abbigail Kinard, Jairus Pendley, Josiah Pendley, Julia Pendley, Leland Pendley, Lamya Walker, Malia Walker and Cory Law; great granddaughter, Claire.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Edith Pendley; and Baby Brother Pendley.
