Lawrence Alan Wilson, 65, of Tishomingo, MS, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mr. Wilson was of the Church of Christ faith. He was a hard-working cattle farmer and was employed at Mississippi Polymers since 1973. He enjoyed taking trips and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Wilson of Tishomingo; one son, Brad Bishop, and wife, Stefanie, of Savannah, TN; three sisters, Barbara Deaton of Tishomingo, Darlene Bonds of Iuka, and Judy Robinson of Iuka; and two grandchildren, Ella Bishop and Maggie Bishop, both of Savannah, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Thomas and Ila Dean McCoy Wilson; and his father-in-law, Bill McCasland. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 regulations, a public memorial service will be announced as soon as possible. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
