Mrs. Karen Elaine “Kay” Alldread, age 65, of Decatur, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at her residence. Her family will host a memorial service at a later date. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Alldread was born September 4, 1954, in Knoxville, TN to Jack Richards and Mary Neely Richards. She was a homemaker, a devoted grandmother, and an avid Tennessee fan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Alldread of Decatur; two sons, Christopher Brill (Donna) of Athens, and Jamey Alldread (Mimi) of Carrollton, MS; one daughter, Jennifer Lea (Scott) of Covington, LA; two brothers, Jeff Richards and Dewey Richards, both of Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Bette Dean Willitt of Cincinnati, OH, Tina DeYong of Alpharetta, GA, and Robin Moore of Knoxville, TN; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
