Private graveside service for Wendell Frank Sams, 79, of Holly Pond will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 11th, 2020 at Holly Pond Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Sams passed away Thursday, April 9th, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 1, 1940 to Jesse & Ieula Stewart Sams. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Blount County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Inez Sams; thirteen brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Mark Martinez.
Survivors include his son, Eric (Pam) Sams; daughters, Christy Martinez, Angela (James) Marchman; sisters, Annie McCoy, Janie Bates; grandchildren, Shelby Martinez, Brooke Marchman, Jacob (Kaylee) Marchman; great-grandchildren, Bentley Martinez, Aylin Teichmiller, Maisie Marchman; family and friends.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
