Mrs. Sue Garner Mrs. Sue Garner, age 81, passed away early Tuesday in Jackson. She was born March 9, 1939 in Henderson County to the late Hulon Woodard Franklin and Etta Mae Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to gospel singing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herbert H. Garner; her brother, Powell Franklin; two sisters, Wilma Wallace and Betty Jo Middleton; and one grandson, Brandon Powers. Survivors include her four daughters, Geneva Powers (Tony), Kim Tillman (Ricky), Bertha Howell (Tony), and Pamela Pritchard (Glenn); her sister, Permelia Wallace; three grandchildren, Patsy Powers, Caleb Howell, and Blake Pritchard; and five great grandchildren, Zackery and Dawson Seigler, Jacob and Shelby Powers. Private, family only graveside services for Mrs. Garner will be Thursday at Antioch Cemetery. Because of the Covid-19 concerns, and respecting the 10 or less group size, for the safety of everyone’s family there will be no visitation or services at Pafford Funeral Home.
