Janice Irene Thigpen, age 55, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Janice was born June 25, 1964 in Florence, AL to the late Estelene McGill and Charles Edward Thigpen. She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Ann Gillman, and her nephew, Richard White.
She was survived by her significant other of 20 years, Zenon Hernandez of Albertville, AL, her sons, Daniel Contreras of Lakeland, FL, and Ruben Contreras and wife Laura of Lakeland, FL, her daughters, Angela Rodriguez of Albertville, AL, and Crystal White, her brothers, Charles Kenneth “Bo” Thigpen and wife Dorothy of Auburndale, FL, Joe Thigpen of Lakeland, FL, Ben Thigpen of Chattanooga, TN, Edward “Early” Thigpen and wife Kimberly of Albertville, AL, and Bobby Thigpen and wife Mary of Winter Haven, FL, her sister, Sheila White and husband Eddie of Soddy Daisy, TN, her aunt, Sandra Walker of Pulaski, TN, several of her nieces and nephews, and 7 of her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Dobbins Cemetery.
