Velma Earlene LuttrellVelma Earlene Luttrell, age 95 of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Franklin County on October 21, 1924 to the late Amos Luke and Callie Frances (Northcutt) Hannah. Before her retirement, Earlene had been employed at the hat factory and as a cook for Clark Memorial School and Lakeside Manor. She enjoyed cooking, working search a word puzzles, sewing, and quilting. A devoted member of Lexie Church of Christ, she will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Luttrell; daughter, Betty Luran Luttrell; sister, Jean Alexander; and brothers, Howard Hannah and Wayne Hannah. Earlene is survived by her loving children, Kay (Buck) Robinson of Belvidere, Bruce (Linda) Luttrell of Huntland, Jimmy (Denise) Luttrell of Belvidere, and Suzanne (Jimmy) Martin of Winchester; twenty-one grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Thelma Hammers of Tullahoma, John “Buck” (Janie) Hannah of Manchester, Amos “Cap” (Lois) Hannah of Belvidere, and Bobby (Linda) Hannah of Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews. A private service is planned with burial at Lexie Cross Roads Cemetery with Bro. Carl Brown officiating. The register book and memorial cards will be available under the carport of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home from 12-4:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2020. An attendant will be available to assist you.
