Number of COVID-19 Cases in Alabama at 951 And 13 Deaths Confirmed

MONTGOMERY-The Alabama Department of Public Health confirms there are now 951 cases of COVID-19 and 13 virus-related deaths in Alabama with 18 deaths reports and 5 yet to be confirmed by the ADPH.

Jefferson County has the most cases per county with 258, while Madison County has 96 cases and Shelby County has 88 cases.  Colbert County has 4, Lauderdale County 12, Franklin 3 and Limestone County has 20. These numbers were updated at 11;15 AM. on Tuesday, March 31. Total number of tests in Alabama 7,249.

Testing sites in North Alabama.  Please bring ID and insurance information.  Most of these sites are affiliated with a hospital and are drive-through sites allowing patients to remain in their vehicles.

Athens – Waddell Family Medicine, 902 West Washington St., 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday

Cullman – 1958 Alabama Highway 157, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday

Hartselle – 1211 Highway 31 NW, Suite B,, 9 a.m.-noon. Monday-Friday

Huntsville – 120 Governors Dr., 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Monday-Friday

Huntsville – John Hunt Park at 2151 Airport Rd., 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday (NOTE: Closed March 31-April 3 due to limited supplies)

Florence – Thrive Urgent Care, 3500 Cloverdale Rd. 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Tests limited to patients with symptoms.

Florence – Med Plus, 2908 Mall Rd., (walk-in clinic), 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily

Florence – Express Med, 970 Cox Creek Parkway, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday

Fort Payne – DeKalb Regional Medical Center POBs at 421 Medical Center Dr., 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Madison – Urgent Care for Children, 8490 Highway 72 West, Suite 100, 2 p.m.-10 p.m. on Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekends.

Moulton – Lawrence Medical Center, 202 Hospital St., Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Scottsboro – Scottsboro Junior High School, only open March 25-27 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Only patients with a physician order and appointment will receive service.

Scottsboro – Scottsboro High School on March 28-29 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. No physician order required.

Tuscumbia – Colbert County office complex (the old Northwest Shoals Community College campus) on U.S. 72
