Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Mooney Pendleton, age 72 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Sewanee on October 3, 1947 to the late John Albert and Dorothy Mae (Bohanan) Mooney. Before her retirement, Bobbie was employed as a machine operator. She enjoyed cooking, coloring, and watching old western movies. Bobbie was a member of Cowan First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Danny Smith, and Jimmy Wayne Smith Jr; sister, Erma Little; and brother, Billy Bohanan. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Tommy Pendleton of Winchester; sons, Billy (Pam) Smith of Winchester, and Troy Smith of Winchester; daughter, Tina (Richard) Gee of Winchester; step-son, Wayne Pendleton of Winchester; sister, Jean (Jimmy) Gipson ; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with Rev. L. Z. Johnson officiating. The register book and memorial cards will be available under the carport of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home from 12:30-1:30 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2020. An attendant will be available to assist you.
