Jane Abigail “Gail” Gipson, age 66 of Estill Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at The Waters of Winchester. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on January 9, 1954 to the late James Edward and Mary Sue (Partin) Craig. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, and camping, but most of all taking care of grandbabies. Gail was a member of Estill Springs Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tammy Davis, Ram Womack, Ronald “Dube” Sanson, and Timothy Craig. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Terry Gipson of Estill Springs; children, Craig Jerome (Angela) Haddon of Decherd, and Mark Lee (Sara) Haddon of Decherd; step-children, Duston (Hannah) Gipson of Estill Springs, Misty Pelham of Estill Springs, and Alissa Gipson of Lynchburg; siblings, Clemmie (Haskell) Conn of Winchester, Lucy (Danny) Bennett of Winchester, Stanley Sanson of Decherd, and Gary Sanson of Estill Springs; twelve grandchildren; and five Great-grandchildren. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held for the immediate family with interment in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
