Mary Nell Peoples, age 84, of Hamilton, AL passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on Monday, February 24, 1936 to Luther Channell and Willie Mae Hawkins Channell.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Franks officiating and burial at Liberty Cemetery in Detroit Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Peoples; parents, Luther and Willie Mae Channell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Tommy Lee Pennington (wife, Janie), Tim Pennington (wife, Wanda); grandchildren, Tommy Michael Pennington (wife, Nataline), Chris Pennington (wife, Audrey), Jason Pennington (wife, Amber), Stacey Harris; great-grandchildren, Gavin & Garrett Pennington, Hayden & Laura Pennington, Austin Cochran, Karley Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
