Funeral service for Laverne Garrison, 77, will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Williams and Bro. Tim Kinney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garrison died on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1942, in Morgan County to Johnny Washington Nelson and Gracie Coleen Vines Nelson Reeves. She was employed as a housekeeper, prior to her passing.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Milton Garrison, her son: Chucky Leeman Garrison, her parents, and two sisters: Loyce Barber McCaig and Joyce Barber.
Survivors include:

Leisa Cook (Barry)
Three Brothers – Johnny Wayne Nelson
David Marcus Nelson
William “Billy” James
Five Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren
