Hollis Hardin, 79, died Monday, March 2, 2020 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home, Russellville, AL. He was born in Franklin County, AL to James Floyd and Ione Johnson Hardin. He was a machine operator for Ocean Spray in Kenosha, WI for thirty-five years and was a member of Zion Second Baptist Church, Zion, IL.
Services will be Thursday, March 5, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Steve Lindsay officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one daughter – Holli Fontenot, Richmond, TX; one grandson – Dakota Fontenot; one great-grandchild; three sisters – Mazelle Hardin, Muscle Shoals, AL, Ernestene Kirby, Birmingham, AL and Darlene Hester, Russellville, AL and a twin brother – Horace Hardin, Vina, AL.
Pallbearers will be Don Hester, Kerry Hester, Rex Mays, Joe Hardin and Mike Kirby.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
