Ronald L. Evans, Esq., age 73, of Leoma, TN passed away Sunday, March 01, 2020 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, an Attorney, a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Rotary Club of Lawrenceburg, and a board member of the Lawrence County Public Library,
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hollis and Mary Lucille Randolph Evans; one brother, Roger Evans; and one sister, Juanita Langner.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Evans of Leoma, TN; two sons, Ronald L. Evans, Jr. (May) of Houston, TX and William Paul Evans of Chattanooga, TN; one step-daughter, Dana Jackson (Jason) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two step-sons, Ryan Hillhouse and Casey Hillhouse, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; five granddaughters, Kaylynn Evans, Abigail Evans, Ella Hillhouse, Savannah Hillhouse, and Jana Jackson; two grandsons, Ethan Evans and Talon Stone Hillhouse; one brother, Kennon Evans (Robin) of Leland, NC; and mother of his children, Mary Carlton of Nashville, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 03, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 04, 2020, with Ed Trimmer officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the Lawrence County Public Library.
