Betty Fay Ginn, 87, of New Hope, passed away Wednesday.
Mrs. Ginn was an employee at Walmart for over 22 years. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her family. One of her greatest joys was cooking and feeding her family. Mrs. Ginn was a beautiful person inside and out, helping anyone who was in need.
She was preceded in death by husband, James “Buddy” Ginn; father, Murphy Congo; mother, Jimmie Congo; daughters, Reba Pockrus, Debbie Riggins, and Barbara Glover; son, Steve Ginn.
Surviving are daughter, Shirley Oyler; sons, David Ginn, Eddie Ginn, Jimmy Ginn, and Frankie Ginn; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Lecroy and Maryanne Powers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Friday at 3:00 PM.
Interment will be in the Sneed Cemetery.
