George William “Bill” Hawkins, Jr., 76 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Hendrix Health & Rehabilitation.
Bill was born on February 8, 1944in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the owner and operator of a service station for many years before his retirement.
There are no services planned at this time.
George is survived by his wife, Ruth Hawkins; son, Jeff Hawkins; daughter, Christie Hawkins; brother, David Hawkins; sister, Marylu Butler; and three grandchildren, Taylor Hawkins, Jeff Hawkins, Jr. and Jennifer Haen.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Haen; and parents, George and Nellie Hawkins.
