Marie Florence Horton, age 97 of the Moreland Community passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church in the Moreland Community. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Greg Alred officiating. Burial will follow at Moreland Cemetery.
Ms. Horton is survived by her children, Helen Alred, Deloran “Sonya” Dukes, Brenda Hamby and Judy Chambers; sister, Marie Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Danny Alred, Greg Alred, Kim Roberts, Robin Heard, Shayla Wray, Barry Hamby & Corey Chambers; 14 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sarah Garrison; husband, Dewey Willard Horton; and several brothers & sisters.
