Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Hensley, Sr., age 71, will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Harpers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Mr. Hensley, a retired maintenance worker for Milan General Hospital for 34 years and member of Oakwood Baptist Church, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Alma (Lomax) Hensley; a brother, Robert Hensley; and a son, Jerry Hensley, Jr.
Mr. Hensley is survived by two daughters, Denise (Tim) White and Charlotte Glover; a daughter-in-law, Ann Hensley; two sisters, Arlene (Bert) Brown and Darlene (Kent) Smith; his loving partner, Elaine Berry and her son, Keith (Michelle); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
