Mary Jane Dunavant, age 94, died on February 6, 2020.
She was born in Campbellsville, TN, on November 20, 1925, retired from Fort Lauderdale Florida School System, member of the Campbellsville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, E. M. (Jake) and Mary Hannah Dunavant, and her brother, Joe Dunavant, all of which were past residents of Campbellsville, TN.
Visitation at the graveside will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Maplewood Cemetery, with the graveside funeral service to follow at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, TN.
She is survived by his brother, Mark Dunavant of Campbellsville, TN, her nephews, Richard and Bill Dunavant, her nieces, Betty Strickland, Ann Henty, Rosemary Martin, Sally Owens, Amy Martin and Elisa Parker, several of her great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Campbellsville United Methodist Church or to the Giles County Animal Shelter.
