James Colby Morris, 30, of Jasper, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
Visitation will be held at Hunters Chapel Holy Church of Christ Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by funeral services at the church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Hunters Chapel Cemetery in Jasper.
Mr. Morris was preceded in death by grandparents, Johnny “Boy” and Faye Morris; grandfathers, Doug Newell, Donnie Freeman, and Patrick Stewart; great-grandfather, Kenneth Williams; and niece, Kori Nicole Morris.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Newell (Chris); father, James Morris (Suzanne); daughter, Kennedy Faith Morris; sons, James Carson Morris and Brantley Chad Morris; sisters, Mackenzie Newell and Katie Newell; brothers, Corey Morris, Hunter Newell, Nick Morris, Austin Morris, Taylor Morris, and Shaun Strickland; grandmother, Debra Freeman; grandfather, Joe Dill; grandmother, Joyce Dill; grandmother, Janet Newell; and great-grandmother, Gladys Williams.
