Mr. Harold Wayne Hooten, age 61, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 27, 1958 in Maury County, Harold was the son of the late Alvin Y. Hooten and the late Stella Goins Hooten. He was a 1977 graduate of Columbia Central High School and worked twenty years at Doug’s Auto Trim. Harold enjoyed old cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather M. Hooten of Columbia; brothers: Jimmy (Valerie) Hooten of Culleoka, Marlin Ray Hooten of Columbia, Phillip Michael Hooten of Columbia; granddaughter, Amariah Silva; and brother in law, Alvin Brady of Fairview.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Iva Jean Wilkes, Elizabeth Yvonne Brady; and brother, Alvin R. Hooten.
