It is with great sadness that I announce the peaceful passing of my mother-in-law, Donna Clay, 96, on January 27, 2020. She was born September 11, 1923 to Node and Velma Soots in Frankton, Indiana. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Clay; grandchildren, Elisa Brousseau, Michelle Hodler, Allen Clay, and Melissa Smathes; great-grandchildren, Brannon Cope, Whitney Hodler, Ross Merritt; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and very dear friends in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Clay, and son, Ronald Clay.
She was a loving and much-loved Grandma and “Granny” to her family, friends, and the staff at Hanceville Nursing Home.
Donna requested a private memorial service to be announced later.
