Mr. Donald Brothers, age 81, of Summerville Road, Boaz died on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Johnson, Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Lynn Sharpton officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brothers was born in Alabama on January 1, 1939 to Earl & Pluma Brothers. He owned and operated Donald Brothers Motors, Inc.
Mr. Brothers is survived by his wife: Mary Lester Brothers of Boaz, Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Jerry & Nisla Brothers of Tennessee and Jeff & Christine Brothers of Florida, Granddaughter: Angelica Brothers of Tennessee, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Wayne & Roberta Brothers of Dadeville, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Carolyn & Gary Dunham of Tennessee He was preceded in death by his Parents: Earl & Pluma Brothers and Son: Don Brothers.
Pallbearers will Jerry Brothers, Jeff Brothers, Gary Thrasher, Ronnie Tinsley, Tim Potter and Gary Dunham.
