Mrs. Doris Faye Childress age 76 of Albertville, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 25, 2020. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gene Lambert & Bro. Don Abbott officiating. She is survived by her Daughters; Pam (Jeff) Blackmon, Sheila (Chris) Mayhall, son; Raylon R “R.J.” Childress Jr. sisters; Mary Ann Thompson Weaver, brothers; Howard Lee Thompson, Joe Tillett, grandchildren; Jeff Strawn, Jason Strawn, erica Mayhall, Kristin Mayhall (Clarke) Hinson, great-grandchildren; Levi Mason Strawn, Raylon Cole Strawn, Carson Pflum, Connor Pflum, Niece Brenda Louise Walls, Numerous Nieces, and Nephews. A special thanks to Jane Childress & Liz Bridgeman for their caregiving. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dave & Ida Thompson, husband, Raylon Childress, sisters; Mildred Thompson Watson, Juanita Thompson, Annie Ruth Thompson McGaugh, brothers; Charles Edward Thompson, Billy Thompson, Bobby Loyd Thompson, James Wade Thompson.
