Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Livesay Batey, 62, of Scottsboro, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Center Point Baptist Church with Rev. David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mrs. Batey is survived by her two sons, Jason (Misty) Foster and Jacob (Kristen) Foster; grandchildren, Sydney Foster, Stratton Foster, Stella Rose Foster, and Sylas Foster; brothers, Frank (Sharon) Livesay and Cory (Debbie) Livesay; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Deby Wright, Denise Gothard, Raymond and Brenda Brandon, and Sonya Larson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey W. Batey and her parents, Frank Sr. and Peggy Livesay.
